This Monday, some members went to Homeless Ministry in order to show Homeless people the true meaning of Christmas by going out into the cold night and handing out blankets, clothes, shoes, McDonald's burgers and tea or coffee. The people were spread out in a lot of areas that were not as obvious. Due to this, the team had to walk around more than usual to find them and give them what they needed.

Prayers were also offered as some members of the team told the Homeless why they were doing this act of charity. One man was crying with joy after a team member prayed with him after giving him resources that were much appreciated.

In the end, the team gathered around and prayed for all the Homeless to have a safe place to stay, to be warm and to protect them from harm. Even though he could've gone home after the event, one team member decided to restock on food and return at 9PM to feed the others who were gathering.

"The reason we are doing this is because we believe that Christmas is about giving gifts and celebrating the fact that Jesus Christ was finally born! This joy is what causes us to reach out to those whom we normally wouldn't." informed Mary Mullagiri, daughter of Vijayaraju, who also participated in the event.
